For ten years, Carole has worked as a mediation Process Facilitator and Regional Manager. This challenging role has involved introducing mediation to the insurance industry and the legal profession with the goal of reducing their reliance on using the litigation system to settle disputes.
Carole has assisted in facilitating the settlement of close to 1,000 disputes resulting from personal injury, the energy sector, professional liability, and complex civil litigation files involving several parties. She has played an integral part in designing various mediation programs tailored to the needs of insurance and legal professionals resulting in superior mediation case management and early settlements. She has recently taken on the role of primary co-ordinator for CDRC's WorkSafeBC mediation program.
Carole has played a major role in the development and fostering of CDRC's Alberta Mediator Roster, which is considered one of the elite rosters in the country. Furthermore, she has conducted numerous presentations and seminars to insurance and legal professionals educating participants on the benefits of using interest based negotiations and mediation to resolve disputes.
