CDRC facilitates the settlement of disputes in commercial and insurance litigation as a neutral ADR service provider. Our services include:
- completing a thorough review of the background of a file;
- initiating settlement activity through the promotion of active communications and the facilitation of information exchange;
- clarifying the steps
required for a mediation to proceed (if appropriate); - facilitating an agreement to proceed with all parties, assessing their understanding of ADR concepts and procedures, and discussing process design requirements;
- selecting and appointing an appropriate mediator;
- establishing a date, time, duration and location for a mediation or pre-mediation conference event(s);
- confirming attendance and appropriate authority to settle;
- coordinating the facility and catering arrangements;
- handling administrative details, including documentation and billing;
- facilitating the exchange of information and summaries, and briefing the mediator in advance; and
- conducting post-mediation consultation and follow-up as required.
